Fear of Flying

Here is my confession! 

I fear of flying. When I was a kid, I used to fly every month to traveling or visiting my grandparents which live in the different island. I loved traveling by plane; it was always fascinate me every time we were going by plane. Even I dreamt to become a pilot. But now, I turn to someone who fears of flying.

It started in 2007. My grandma passed away. My sister and I were going to grandma funeral which is thousand miles away from the place we lived. We went by plane and in the three quarter of flying; the flight attendant announced that we got to back to the departures airport because of there was something problem with the engine and the arrival airport had no mechanic that can fixed the plane so the captain pilot decided to back to the departure airport.

Live Life to The Fullest

Since November 2009, I write inspirational quotes on a piece of paper and stuck it on my computer.
The goal is to make me keep the spirit of work under any circumstances.
The first quote that I put on the computer is: "Faith is taking the first step even when you can't see the whole staircase" by Martin Luther King Jr.

Then since last week I replaced it with a new quote by accidentally I hear from a song on my i-pod. The quotation is from a song sung by Miley Cyrus titled The Climb. The quotation reads like this: "Ain't about how fast I get there, ain't about what's waiting on the other side. It's the climb".

Everything that I do is a process, and the most important of all it is the lessons learned in the process of achieving a goal. Whatever the purpose is found, it is not the most crucial thing in this life, but new things, challenging things that get in the way to the goal to be achieved.

Awareness to dump in place

This morning while on the bus headed to the office, I sat next to a young woman my age who throw a trash of chocolate on the floor of the bus.

Most of the buses in Jakarta damaged and not worthy of the road, dirty and a lot of pollution, but it would be better if we do not aggravate the situation by taking out the trash everywhere.

Litter, especially the difficult to unravel the soil can cause global warming. There's sort of chemical carbon monoxide can not be described by the soil and can contaminate the air in the long run can lead to global warming and in the short term can cause death to humans who inhale carbon monoxide.

Let us ignore the reasons why littering is prohibited.
What is the difficult to dispose of waste in place? Although no trash around you, reserve it and dispose of trash, if you find a trash can when you walk.
I carry a small plastic bag in my bag, to keep out the dry trash. Then the rubbish that is in a plastic bag, I would throw it to the garbage when I get home.
A few years ago was a bit difficult to find a trash can around Jakarta, but now the government has increased awareness by adding a trash can in every place.

Dispose of waste in place, keep our city clean, the place where we live, walk and breathe.
Rubbish, just a small thing can be bad for everyone and especially for ourselves. Be aware of this simple little thing, this is not for the next generation, but for ourself!
Let us guard our environment, starting from small things, start from yourself, and start from now.

Nightlife in Jakarta

Living in a big and capital city is measured by all pleasures which serve its people of all kind of way to have fun and get away from busy activity in workdays. Clubbing or partying or whatever, is the best way for all the commuter to have some rest and go out either with co-workers or friends or lover or whomever. I, myself is a student and working in a company too. My days are fulfilled by go to school, do school assignments, and go to work. I nearly have no time for myself on workdays. When it comes to the weekend, it's my turn to spend my time with the closest friends and going out with them.

In Jakarta, most people spend the weekend in the Mall, either for shopping, go to the cinema, or just hang out. And some people who loves to partying, go to the clubs in town. Mostly, the clubs for the upper middle class is located in the south of Jakarta. There's a night club that I personally and my best friends love to partying is X2 Club, located in Plaza Senayan Mall 4th floor. It has 4 rooms/lounges; Vintage, Equinox, Ego, and X2.

Twitter, Updates' Paradise

A couple of months lately, there is a web that show up very famous in the middle of Hollywood A-listers, called twitter. Paris hilton a.k.a babygirlparis, Ashton Kutcher a.k.a aplusk, and many more other A-listers that addicted to twitter. It is mainly give the users sharing ’bout their activities, sharing links, and even photos. I usually called twitter as Update’s Paradise web bcoz I can update my status every seconds and it is very easy.

What makes twitter different from the other friendship’s tool website such as facebook, myspace, hi5, etc is that twitter only have one main feature : updating status. Updating status is the main purpose of this website.

Some Changes

Hi!
Well, this is out from my habit but I did some changes in this blog. Almost all the posts are deleted and I'm going to write some of my experiences, most of are what I recently doing, technology, traveling, culinary, and other side of every place that I ever visited.
